The first ever "Bharat Ratna" to Sportsman??But who??

Since honorable chief minister of Madhya Pradesh confer his wish that "Major Dhyan Chand should get the first ever Bharat Ratna to any sports personality before Sachin Tendulkar". I have been hearing Major Dhyan Chand Singh’s stories from long time but never was so curious to read about the wizard of Hockey. Now here comes the point whether in current political arena where Awards are distributed like a two old friend shares pleasantries. I am telling this here because if we saw the past few years the elite Awards like Padam Bhushan and Padam Shree received by many people who even don’t know what Padam Bhushan and Padam shree meant for. I don't want to reveal names here in common forum but can highlight their nature of work that does not seems to be any public services or national services. I want to cite an example here, our one of the great minister of foreign affairs long time back caught saying that ""The Public Transport here in India is for cattle class people" in a social networking forum to justify his none willingness to use Public transport for traveling short distance. The funny Part here is he also got one of the elite Award stated above. So at present the Public Award functions in India they are losing their honor and pride and just resemblance as other more popular Award function Like IIFA, Film fare or many more as now in these days crowd are more or less similar and he receiver also same. Unfortunately these functions are even more famous then what we are talking about here. Let’s not discus about these Award function here and come to the original debate "Who will be the first ever Bharat Ratna for Sports". Its sound like we are discussing here any news channel show or maybe we will have in our bucket soon if this debate goes on. Major Dhyan Chand Singh Aka the Wizard of Hockey and Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar both are genius and the world will remember hem for their contribution to the sports. But when it comes to choose the Best from the best then our mind and experience will go out of service and here the facts and figures will play a very vital role to choose the best one. Friends let me tell you one thing we are not here to decide who will be the chosen one but simply briefing the Achievements of both the Maestro.

Lets start with sachin Tendulkar, A man who is known by little master by at least 2Bn population (Here i summed the population of all he cricket playing nation), 99 centuries, 154 half centuries and more then close to 33000 thousand International runs above of all total 77000 thousand runs in all possible form of cricket. The Data itself reveal the greatness of this little master. He serves the cricket since he was 16 and half. In India we are proudly says Cricket is our religion and sachin is our god because the country is a birth place of sachin Tendulkar. Some famous quote about Tendulkar once an English cricketer said "In India if you in Plane with Sachin Tendulkar nothing will happen to you" the quote came just after the Mumbai terror attack. Another famous quote about Tendulkar "A English man travelling between Himachal and Delhi the train stopped at one small station and did not start even after 10 mins of halt this English man was just curious to know why he train is not starting then he came to know that the Train staff was watching a cricket match and sachin tendulkar is batting at 90s. He was surprised and amazed with the passion of cricket in India. That gentleman writes in his diary that Sachin Tendulkar is a Man who can stop the time in India". Let’s talk about some financial fact about him arguably he earned close to 150-200 Crs annually.

Some infamous point about Tendulkar:

1. He Was a Part of 6 world cup tournament team out of which India Won only one world cup that too host by Sub-continent.

2. People say whenever he hits centuries the winning rate of India is mare 50%.

3. He was not a successful captain. His success rate was 0% in test series win and also in ODI is about to 30-40%.

After the short ride of Tendulkar's glory let me brief you about the Wizard of Hockey none arguably the legend of Hockey. Some People also say He was the Masterpiece that will not redraw again until the master himself reborn. Like SRT, Major Dhyan Chand Singh joins the Indian Army at an age of 16 and half and playing hockey for Indian Army. After getting the permission from Army he Played for UP zone and selected for 1928 Olympic. He was a part of the team for three consecutive Olympics 1928 (Amsterdam), 1932 (Los Angeles) and 1936 (Berlin). His personal score in all three tournaments was 33 goals in 12 matches. Out of which the Berlin Olympic was the glories days of Indian Hockey, India scored 38 goals in the tournament and conceded only One against Germany in Final. The Adolf Hitler himself register his presence in the final, After seeing the Game He offered Dhyan Chand, a Major in the British Indian Army, German citizenship and an offer to promote him to the rank of a Colonel (which Dhyan Chand, of course, refused). He retired from Army at an age of 51 and latter he served the Indian Hockey. He also received Padam Bhusan Award in 1956, third highest award of the country.

    * Once, while playing a hockey game, Major Dhyan Chand was not able to score a goal against the opposition team. After several misses, he argued with the match referee regarding the measurement of the goal post, and amazingly, it was found to not be in conformation with the official width of a goal post (as prescribed under international rules).

    * After India played its first match in the 1936 Olympics, Dhyan Chand's magical stickwork drew crowds from other venues to the hockey field. A German newspaper carried a banner headline: 'The Olympic complex now has a magic show too.' The next day, there were posters all over Berlin: Visit the hockey stadium to watch the Indian magician Dhyan Chand in action.

    * In Holland, the authorities broke his hockey stick to check if there was a magnet inside.

    * On one occasion, a lady from the audience asked Dhyan Chand to play with her walking stick instead. He scored goals even with them!

    * Don Bradman and Dhyan Chand once came face to face at Adelaide in 1935, when the Indian hockey team was in Australia. After watching Dhyan Chand in action, Don Bradman remarked "He scores goals like runs in cricket"

    * Residents of Vienna, Austria, honored him by setting up a statue of him with four hands and four sticks, depicting his control and mastery over the ball.

After all the analysis i found myself very determined to support Major Dhyan Chand to get the Bharat Ratna award because this is going to be a first ever such Award to a Sports man then why not to the first sports man of the Country. For Great Sachin Tendulkar we will give second Bharat Ratna.

After all sequence doesn't matter "Bharat Ratna is Bharat Ratna" but we should maintain the chronicle order.

Will Black Money Ever Come To Inida

Last Few months we can consider as social uprising in India. We have witnessed Anna Hazzare's Fast in support of Formation of LokPal Bill and now seeing Baba Ramdev's Fast to Bring Back all the Black Money deposited in the foreign Banks. Most of the People are seeing both the movement from same eyes. But i am taking both the movements in deferent ways and giving uper hand to Anna Hzzare's movement because it has a practical solution. Once the Lokpal Bill will Draft in a manner what Anna Hzzare and his committee want it to be the corruption level will definitely reduce by maximum extent in India. Now come the point what Baba Ramdev Raised "Declare the Black Money as  National Asset and Bring that Back to India". Is it that easy as compare to successfully implement the Lokpal Bill. My Answer is "No" because it involves some foreign Institution (i.e. Swiss Bank) and they have their own policy and laws to follow. We can’t fight with them if they deny giving the money or even information about the sum. What we can do to increase the diplomatic pressure over those institutions and force them to reveal the data associated with the money. But we all knows diplomatic efforts are very time consuming and it may take a decade to get even information about the actual figure of the sum and names involved in it and another decade to complete the probe against the culprits if att all they alive by the god's grace by that time. We Can easily consider another 4 to 5 years to bring back the money to india. A 25 years of time to resolve the matter isn't it costly and expensive. In my point this Black money issue are diverting people's attention in wrong direction and weaken LOKPAL bill issue. Don't we know that if this Bill passed successfully in another 25 years we can save 10 times of money what we are fighting for. So at last in my perception the Black money issue leads Indian people towards nowhere and will lift BABA's career as politician for sure. So my dear Indians if we really want to fight against corruption and git rid the corrupt person from ourselves and take an oath not to give a "Naya Paisa" to any one as a bribe...Jai Hind!!
